The Jentzen Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership provides farm-fresh food to you and your family for 16 weeks each summer and fall.
Missed enrollment this year? Enter your email to join the waitlist for 2025 CSA Membership.
Choose your pick-up location and CSA share size: we recommend a standard share for a family of four and a half share for a family of two.
We also offer eggs and poultry as add-ons - see the sign-up page for details.
We'll grow your food.
The CSA membership model cuts out the middle man and allows small family farms to plan their growing seasons more effectively - that means healthier local economies, healthier land, and healthier food.
Each week, you'll pick up your box of farm fresh produce from one of our market locations or neighborhood drop sites.
Say "hi" to your farmer, and take your box home to enjoy veggies and fruits that are good for you and good for your community.
2024 Prices:
16-week Standard CSA Share (produce for a family of 4): $400
16-week Half CSA Share (recommended for a family of 2): $250
Add-ons available:
Egg Share (one dozen eggs per week for 16 weeks): $70
Broiler Chicken Share (eight chickens total, spread across 16 weeks): $125
Watch your emails for exact dates! For better or for worse, nature gets the final say - but our first CSA harvests are usually ready in early July, and then you'll receive produce boxes for sixteen consecutive weeks.
When you sign up for CSA membership, you'll choose your weekly pick up location and corresponding day of the week.

Want to see your neighborhood on our list? If you can recruit fifteen CSA members to your location, we'll deliver to you!
It will change each week! Expect an assortment of 5-7 different types of produce - early season harvests often have less variety, but as the summer reaches full swing, so will our harvests. Some produce will be quite familiar (you've heard of potatoes and lettuce, right?) and some might be new to you. But don't worry - if you need some recipes for celeriac or beet greens, we've got you covered.
Our farm fresh food is just that - FRESH. The good news: it's delicious. The bad news: one week's produce won't be available the next week.
CSA boxes are harvested fresh each week and cannot be transferred to another week. And because CSA membership is a season-long relationship, we don't offer refunds if you're unable to pick up your food in a certain week. We grew that produce just for you!
If you can't pick up your CSA share in a particular week, here's what we suggest: invite a friend or neighbor to get it for you! (You can thank them in vegetables.) Just be sure to give us a heads up so that we know it's okay to hand your food off to a stranger.
It's not. The "USDA Certified Organic" label has its pros and cons, and we've chosen to forgo an official certification so that we can instead focus our resources on growing delicious food using the best sustainable farming practices available to us.
We DO follow regenerative agriculture principles: prioritizing soil health, rotating crops, integrating livestock (our pastured chickens "till" and "fertilize" our crop fields), using cover crops, and more.
We DO NOT use synthetic additives, pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
We DO love to talk about sustainable farming - so if you have a specific question about how we grow your food, just ask! We love to talk with you about the ways we love our land. Email us at jentzenfarms@charter.net - or better yet, stop by one of our market tables or pick up locations and chat with us in person.
